Philip Hammond has announced a new tax on the manufacture and import of plastic packaging that contains less than 30 per cent recycled plastic. This is amazing news that will have a big impact on the circular economy and boost the investment is recycling in UK. Lets hope that this is mirrored in every country and creates the huge change needed to counteract decades of neglecting the end of life destination of plastics.
