Klöckner Pentaplast has teamed up with the German Plastic Packaging Industry Association (IK) to create a pilot project for the closed-loop recycling of PET food trays.
The plastics packaging manufacturer said that it had successfully closed the loop for plastic food trays and is turning them into new recycled plastic trays.
